Rams QB Jared Goff
Explodes in home matchup vs. the Bucs. Goff has 4 TD and 3 INT so far this season. I’m expected Rams offense to get right in this matchup.
Giants RB Wayne Gallman
Redskins defense gives up 4.8 yards per carry on the ground. Gallman should be involved in the passing game as well.
Jaguars WR DJ Chark
4 or more catches and a TD in all 3 games this season. Denver has a formidable secondary, but has lacked a pass rush to start the season. Chark is worth a flex play.
Seahawks TE Will Dissly
Mentioned last week that the Cardinals can’t cover tight ends and I was correct. Dissly should see more of a workload with Nick Vannett traded to the Steelers.
Cardinals K Zane Gonzalez
Air Raid offense should be able to move the ball vs. the Seahawks at home.
Sneaky home matchup against the Raiders in a Noon game. Colts defense has 4 sacks each in the 1st and 2nd games of the season. Raiders offensive line has given up 7 sacks and 10 QB hits thru 3 games.
Ravens LB Patrick Onwuasor
Should see plenty of tackles opportunities vs. the Browns.
Bears QB Mitchell Trubsiky
Redskins have allowed a 124.8 passer rating and a 78.3 completion percentage.
Texans RB Carlos Hyde
83 rushing yards in the opener and 90 last week. Hyde with that usage is worth a flex play vs. the Chargers.
49ers WR Deebo Samuel
Team leader in targets, receptions, yards, and TD. Worth a flex play at home vs. the Steelers.
Panthers TE Greg Olsen
Cardinals keep changing schemes and coaching staffs, but still can’t cover opposing Tight Ends. T.J. Hockenson and Mark Andrews had huge games against the Cardinals already this season.
Bucs K Matt Gay
The Giants defense is atrocious. Gay will have plenty of scoring opportunities.
Joe Flacco’s lack of mobility will lead to sacks and turnovers. 58.3 opponents passer rating. Potential pinball point performance for Packers.
Bucs CB Vernon Hargreaves
12 total tackles last week and faces a Daniel Jones in his first NFL start.
Mets 2B/1B/ Robinson Cano
3 on the road in Colorado and 3 on the road in Cincinnati. Slash rate of .393/.438/.750 the last 14 days. Cano is heating up at the right time for the Mets and fantasy owners.
Mets 3B/1B Todd Frazier
Toddfather has a .375/.444/1.063 slash rate the last 7 days. The matchups in Cincy are tough with Bauer and Gray, however the ballpark makes Frazier worthy of being in lineups.
Brewers SP Zach Davies
Home starts on Monday vs. the Padres and Saturday with the Pirates. 3.91 and 1.087 WHIP in his last 5 starts. Bombed in his only start of the season vs. the Padres. Opposes Garrett Richards in his first start of the season coming off Tommy John. 2.31 ERA in 4 starts vs. the Pirates this season.
Bengals QB Andy Dalton
49ers defense made a lot of changes this offseason. It takes time for a defense to gel. In this matchup, Dalton is worth streaming.
Bills RB Devin Singletary
On the field for 48 of the Bills 69 offensive snaps in the opener. Worth a flex play vs. the Giants.
Redskins WR Terry McLaurin
3rd Rd Pick out of The Ohio State University caught 5 for 125 and a TD in the opener last week. Case Keenum has to throw to someone and McLaurin looks to be the target. Hat tip to my friend Josh Cardin on taking McLaurin in our Dynasty League draft.
Raiders TE Darren Waller
Mentioned quite a bit on Hard Knocks. Waller looks to be the 2nd option behind Tyrell Williams. I see the Raiders having to play catch up in this contest.
Titans K Cairo Santos
Should be busy vs. the Colts. Knocked in kicks from 37 and 53 last week.
I would expect them to come out pissed off after blowing last week’s game vs. the Saints. Gardner Minshew in his first NFL start could be in trouble.
Packers LB’s Za’Darius and Preston Smith
I was impressed with what both players did in Week 1 vs. the Bears. Should get after Kirk Cousins in the home opener.
Tigers 2B/3B Dawel Lugo
.333/.346/.588 slash rate the last 14 days. Lugo has multiple position eligibility and may be worth streaming for daily players. 6 home games this week, 3 with the Yankees and 3 vs. the Orioles.
Astros OF Josh Reddick
Last 14 days Reddick has a slash rate of .371/.450/.657. 4 home games with the A’s and 3 on the road with the Royals. Batting just .232 in 60 PA vs. the A’s this season. With how Reddick is rolling I wouldn’t put too much stock in season stats vs. A’s. Should be in lineups regardless of league format.
Yankees SP J.A. Happ
Just one start this week on Thursday vs. the Tigers in Detroit. I’m looking past the 5.38 ERA this season. Happ has a 1.250 WHIP and 9.9 SO/9 in the last 28 days. The Tigers are batting just as a team .240 on the season. Happ will be in a few of my lineups this week.
Lions QB Matt Stafford
Went undrafted in many fantasy leagues this summer. Matchup with the Cardinals presents a potential shootout.
Patriots RB Sony Michel
My belief is the Patriots will run the ball a bit more in 2019 than in years past. I have no fear of Michel losing significant work to Damien Harris or James White. Love the TD scoring potential.
Giants WR Sterling Shepard
Heavily targeted vs. the Cowboys with Golden Tate suspended. Only 1 career TD vs. the Cowboys in 6 games, that changes this week.
Chargers TE Hunter Henry
Dazzles with his play vs. the Colts. Will provide terrific mid-round value this season.
Browns K Austin Seibert
Won the job over incumbent Greg Joseph. Should be busy vs. the Titans
At home vs. Case Keenum and the talent deficient Redskins. I’m banking on Keenum turning the ball over.
Bucs LB Devin White
My favorite player in the 2019 NFL draft. Matchup with the run-heavy/short passing game 49ers should provide plenty of tackle opportunities.
Pirates 2B/SS Kevin Newman
I picked him up in one league with Jose Ramirez going down and in another to replace Elvis Andrus. Newman over the last 28 days has raked to the tune of .320/.365/.515. Also has 13 steals this season. Newman can help in all formats at this stage of the season.
Cardinals 2B/SS/3B Tommy Edman
.385/.407/.462 slash rate the last 7 days. His OBP for the last 28 days is .364. Daily players looking to improve their percentages may want to roll with Edman. HIs hot bat should keep him in the lineup for consistent AB’s.
Reds SP Anthony DeSclafani
Stream worthy for the playoffs as a 2 start pitcher. Home on Monday with the Phillies and on Sunday against the Diamondbacks. Projected opposing starters are Drew Smyly and Mike Leake. 0.769 WHIP in his last 2 starts. I’m using DeSclafani in one of my lineups this week.
